About us

We are a husband and wife team who spend almost all of their holidays and spare weekends looking for the best in wildlife watching. Since starting this site, we have also been joined by a little boy and a little girl. Benjamin and Lila have already begun sharing our wildlife endeavors!

There are many travel blogs out there, but wildlife is what we live for and we wanted to dedicate our blog specifically to this, so we can share with you the best places to see creatures great and small.

All photos on the site were taken by myself*. Heather is the travel planner, spending many hours researching destinations, the best times to go, where to stay, where to eat and how to get there.

Heather is a vet (small animals) at a charity and has also spent time volunteering for World Veterinary Service (WVS) projects, from vaccinating dogs against rabies to treating street animals, around the world including in India, Greece and Malawi. She has even volunteered for an orangutan relocation project in Sumatra. Heather. has travelled to all 7 continents, although many of these trips were sadly before I met her :-(.

Eric works in civil engineering and construction and has a passion for wildlife photography.
